Rudry

Parish of Rudry

A warm welcome to you from the Church in the parish of Rudry, serving the farms and rural housing between north-east Cardiff and Caerphilly, as well as the villages of Rudry and Waterloo. We hope that we are a church where it is easy to make friends.
St James’ Church is the small Church alongside the Draethen to Van Road, just past the Maenllwyd Inn, next to Cwrt Griffin.
Nearest postcode: CF83 3JQ
OS Land-ranger grid reference: ST193865
Access
Lifts to church can be arranged (contact the vicar or one of the churchwardens). There is roadside parking. The building is accessed by a moderately sloping gravel path with one step.
Sunday service
Weekday services
There is a Eucharist somewhere in the group of parishes every Tuesday-Thursday. See Church Life page.
The Three Blind Mice is the traditional name for our ancient Church bells at Saint James’. These have recently been restored and re-hung in the newly refurbished tower.  Thanks to many donors and the hard work of one of our churchgoers they now ring out in worship of God and to call you.
